May 8th meeting.

 I thought you might like to see a close up of the quilt currently in the frame.  It's a quilt, made by Mary Lawson, called Hopscotch and in the background the ladies are quilting a 'jumping jack'.  It's such a pretty quilt, I'd wager it would be a great raffle quilt. Very striking and fun to look at...just like all scrappy's.  Bea was quite tickled with her organizer. It has pockets and is wrapped around a mug....sits next to your sewing machine and is a great holder.  Plus this one has the neatest fabric.  Aha!!!  someone picked up my camera when I wasn't looking and snapped a picture of my tablecloth made with the coffee filter technique (posted on my blog...http://quilterwoman.blogspot.com    as a tutorial)...I'm hiding back there somewhere. Pat Bell finished a cuddle quilt and brought it in for show and tell.  Always a need for cuddles.  Mary Lawson made another really interesting quilt. Colours here do not do it justice.  A charming s
