A fun program day.

Here are Vera, Sherry, Marge and Muriel(Ann's hiding) working on the guild quilt. Knees knocking. Joan Smith graciously volunteered to take the quilt home and bind it. It will be hanging with pride at our quilt show in September.
Jean Thompson made a twisted thread catcher.  They're fun and easy to do.
This signature quilt (covered in plastic to protect it) is our table cloth.  It is usually covered with sweets and munchies for tea break.
Here's our guild quilt...all quilted and ready for binding.  Isn't it gorgeous...such beautiful colours and fabrics...the applique was done by hand by yours truly and Judy Steeves.
Here's Marilyn Wynn's table topper...all done in spring fabrics...guess she's tired of winter like the rest of us.
Sandra Alston took such a shine to the triangle thread catchers, she made a bundle then upsized the pattern and made this one.
Judy Steeves started cleaning out her cupboards for the Chinese raffle and came across a UFO. She decided it was time to get it done.  It'll be gorgeous when it is all finished. I believe it is a table topper.
Here's some luck of the the Irish for ya'.  Sherry Maxwell did the same  as Judy and came across a few keepers in her pile of UFOs.
Marge finished her log cabin.  Should have gotten closer so that you could see the appliqued flowers in the light section of the cabin. It is stunning.
Pre raffle draws...The Chinese auction is a great way to clean out your UFO's , magazines , fabric or anything you'd like to clear out.  Remember one quilter's scrap is another guilter's treasure. It was great fun.
Here are the gamblers in our group playing "strip" poker. Surprisingly, it was a lot of fun. Everyone got into the spirit of the game...some more than others.
Here's our winner...adorned in 3inch strips...Sandra Carter had a good time...wonder what she is going to do with all those strips.

Show and Tell
