JANUARY 9, 2024 Show and Tell

  Monthly Meeting was held Jan 9, 2024. There was also Show and Tell, a demonstration on half square triangles and a preview of the next workshop. Gail F  showed  a garbage bag for a car. For the lining she used waterproof fabric from a backpack. Pattern free online . Gail's 12 Days of Christmas Quilt has a distinctive Canadian flair. Muriel G. got a quantity of striped fabric at a Flea Market. She made a camping/outdoor quilt from That fabric with some recycled denim. Even her carry bag, which can be seen on the floor, is denim.            Debbie F. brought in her laptop so we could see a fairly large photo of her Carpenter's Star barn quilt. Here is her description: This barn quilt was crafted by my daughter Lisa as a Christmas present for me a few years ago. It is 8 feet x 8 feet, using two sheets of plywood.
