November 12/13 Meeting

Another comfort quilt , all quilted and out of the frame.  They are so simple and so pretty. Those hand quilters at our guild are so prolific..
Sheila's wrist gets cold (I know how that feels) and her grand daughter (I believe) crocheted these "texting mitts" or wrist warmers for her.  It's always nice to see how considerate people can be for their loved ones.
Carolyn has been busy knitting...here is a pair of fuzzy, warm mitts made with Canadiana and eyelash yarn.  Innovative and really cute.

Marj appliqued this beautiful quilt and then she hand quilted it with gorgeous designs.  Great Job ...will look amazing at our quilt show in the fall.

Sandra showed us a neat bag she made ...it holds a ruler and whatever else you want to put in there and then turns over to be an ironing mat. Clever...
Vivian Hayward is hiding behind this UFO all done.  I believe it came from the Fabric Cupboard...a fun project and a great lap quilt.

Susan appliqued and quilted "Henrietta Whiskers" over the summer ...most people take a vacation then but Susan opted differently. Well done, and adorable, Susan!

Helen made her iron tote/caddy but hasn't got her
buttons on it...a 'roundtoit' for sure...
Vivian Patriquen made this wonderful winter wallhanging.  Always amazes us , this lady.
And look at this awe inspiring quilt made by Carol Davis.  I know she paper pieced it ...more courage than I have, that's for sure.

Judy Hughes is hiding behind this great summer wall hanging that she made at a quilt retreat. I believe she has lots of fun at these retreats, let alone makes neat 'stuff'...

Cheryl showed us her 'potato' bag. It's for microwaving a potato...interesting concept...and maybe a good program project....

Judy , as usual, showed us something practical and interesting....for catching those colour runs in the washer....(actually, for fixing our boo-boos) plus she had a mug holder that she had knit while practicing her intarsia.

Jean made the iron tote/caddy as well. It's a great addition when you are taking classes and learning techniques...
AND here she shows us the tree skirt she made using a technique that Marilyn Wynn showed us at the Villa Madonna retreat...and you thought we only went there to have fun...see, I told you we got a lot out of that trip....you should go......

and last  but not least, Melda made her iron tote/caddy and brought it for show  and tell...next month we get to see her froggie and Helen's...
