Hiding behind this Interrupted panel is our President , Jacqui.  She took the class with Agathe while the rest of us were at the Villa.
Joan made this quilt for her grand daughter who doesn't like flowered material..and there is not a flower on it.
This neat bag was made by Marlene to carry quilts in..thought you'd like to see it.
and here is the quilt. A simple design, embellished with applique and so very effective. A combination that always looks great.
Jean needed a card table cover and made this Friendship star to do the job.
 along with this baby quilt.
Vera availed herself of the panels that Carolyn was giving away and made this cuddle quilt to go to Joyce.
This sweet quilt just got quilted by the morning quilters. It belongs to Vivian , our centigenarian
who outshines us all.
Jacqui made this sweet child's quilt.
Judy got to reminiscing and brought in a sampler that she made a while ago, showing all the techniques taught to a member by Georgia Bonisteel and passed along to the Guild.
Another panel , found by Vera...this one is great for little boys. It was a very generous thing for Carolyn to do...something we should all consider with our overflowing stashes...not mentioning any names here.....

Evening Sussex Vale Quilters' Guild, May 8, 2017

JoAnne saw this being made at the Villa Madonna last year and kept it in the front of her "to do" list. Here it is in all its glory...the retreat bag, beautifully made with really neat fabrics and not only that, being used.  Congrats JoAnne!
She also made this magic eights that Susan Snyder taught us in her block of the month programme. Hallowe'en fabrics for a spooktacular event.
This is JoAnne's beauty as well.  Darn, I forgot what it is called. Looks great though!
Dianne is hiding behind this child's quilt she made....it is comfy , cozy with flannels...good job, Dianne...
She also made play mat for a child...clever girl.
AND these fish...they are so darn cute!
This is Chris's masterpiece...a block of the week pattern from the Fabric Cupboard.  Now she is going to quilt it.
Marilyn finished this gorgeous quilt at the Villa...it is so unique...looks like a maze. I don't think I could keep all the pieces straight in my head. It's a breeze for her.
This sweet quilt is one she saw at the Fabric Cupboard and decided she wanted to make it.  Easy pattern and so effective when put all to gether.  Great work night time ladies!
