The November 14, 2023 meeting was well attended and many members brought finished projects.
Susan S helped the members show their items for all to see.
First up was Gail F with several small quilts and a variety of bags. Susan was holding several of the panel quilts, one on top of the other.
There was too much light from the windows in the background to show the richness of colour in this stunning batik quilt and matching bag also made by Gail.
Gail showed a quilt made by Marilyn W. She told the group that Marilyn described it as ugly. No one agreed with that description.
Muriel G is all ready for a craft sale with her cute felt ornaments. she made a Gnome and a Fox
Her next items were 2 table toppers and a runner.
Joyce B made a cute rope bowl, sounds like she was encouraged by Leigh
.
Renata B constructed the Hunter's Star Block. She made a pillow and a runner using this method.
In her project Ethel R used the Hunter's Star Block as well.
Jane K made this Trellis Quilt which was hand quilted in 2022.
Jane's Falling Charms was a 2023 hand quilting project.
Diane B has wonderful contrast in her Hunter's Star
Diane's Forget-Me-Not quilt was appliqued in purples.
This fall themed project rounded out Diane's show and tell.
Sharon G created a very nice Mondo Bag. Her rope bowl looks unique and lovely.
Joan S has a new winter hanging. A blustery scene made for a nice hanging. The star shape on the hanger certainly is a nice touch.
Agathe K has made a lovely quilt that will be headed to Habitat for Humanity. What a lovely and generous donation.
Jean T has been busy sewing small quilts.
Cynthia V had some photos to pass around of a quilt shop in Vietnam.
Marlene O made a quilt named Space Junk.
Leigh S brought in her Mondo Bag along with a rope bowl. Looks like she started a trend with adding a button to her bowl.
Judy H has been making rope bowls too. She's showing an oval and a round one.
She thinks she'll do some machine quilting on this beauty to embellish the buildings.
Susan S was the last to show what she has created.
I think she said she made her sunflower from another project.
What a cute runner and placemat.
Followed by a green runner.
Her quilt has so many pretty parcels.
Following Show and Tell the group enjoyed tea and cookies.
