Display at Sussex Vale District Women's Institute Food and Craft Fair-2024

On August 20, 2024 volunteers from our guild presented lovely display tables at the food and craft portion of the Kings County Agricultural Fair.

It was great to see an overview of the charity items that had been crafted and donated over the last year.

The varied talents of the group were showcased in lovely and colourful projects for all to admire.

There were tickets sold on the raffle quilt. Membership forms were available for the upcoming year. 

Judy H. prepared a step by step tutorial board on making folded star ornaments. Judy H. and Sharon R. provided fabric and instruction for anyone who wanted to make one of these no-sew ornaments.

In June two members of this guild volunteered at the Sussex Regional Library where staff have taken on a fidget blanket project for Kiwanis Nursing home. There is a plan to make more in the fall.
