Blogger wasn't going to let me get back on the blogspot after taking the summer off....but I persevered and here we are. Just look at this wonderful quilt...yes, Ce Pearson it IS a quilt...a yoyo quilt and it is amazing with over 1700 yoyo's. I just hope she will keep her promise and display it in our show in 10 days...yes, you read right..10 days.
Leigh Smith makes the neatest things. This is a pumpkin pin cushion. Sure would look good on my coffee table...hint!, hint!
Here's our bag lady....Marilyn Wynn can beat me hands down for having the most quilted bags. This one is a great tote and would make an even nicer purse...downsized just a tad.
I like this one too, it's a Sweet Sixteen Bag made with charm squares. I'm in need of another purse..that one would do. Good thing it is on our program this fall.
Here's another bag...this one is fat quarter friendly. Notice the fabric...it's Canadian...Marilyn is off to Scotland this fall and decided she wanted folks to know exactly where she's visiting from. ....that'll work.
I missed Joan Smith telling us what this was for...so if any of you can remember please let me know and I will rewrite this. It looks kind of neat...wouldn't you say?
Judy Steeves had a bag...it was a nice one that a friend had made for her and in it she had her "all things chocolate" challenge that I'm sure you will see at the quilt show along with her Etui challenge.....as to all, we can attest , better late than never.
Here's Vivian Hayward's Spring Garden Sampler quilt that she worked on over the summer. Pretty , pretty and will be in the quilt show.
Some lucky son and bride will be delighted that Mom quilted this for them. It's "Dressed to the Nines" done by President, Muriel Gilbert...Nice job , Muriel. Love the colours you chose.
And here she is again, bragging this time. She got herself some really great bargains. Not that we begrudge her these wonderful quilter's toys, just wish we could have been with her when she went shopping and found them for ourselves too. Congrats, Muriel...we shall see them at "sew" days, right??
A place for like minded quilters to gather and share ideas, techniques and projects.
