November 24 ..Program Day

We had a wonderful program this Tuesday...Lorette Cole from Spruce It Up Quilt shop, Port Elgin came to visit....needless to say, we kept her hopping.  Here's Jackie starting off show and tell will a wonderful Chemo Quilt she made for our challenge this year.  .....masculine and gorgeous, Jackie!
She also got into making microwave bowls and then these cute little square bowls to show her sister how to make them.
Here's her second Chemo quilt....she doesn't waste time, this girl.   generous too!
Lilliane got her chemo quilt done as well..it's got a second show and tell before it heads to its destination.
This lovely quilt is for Lilliane's daughter. Lilliane designed this quilt herself,,,isn't it amazing.
Joan bought a fabric line and put it together in this soft and muted shades quilt...gorgeous!
Susan didn't want her grand kids trick or treating with pillow cases(that's how you get the most candy, Susan) and made two of these trick or treat bags for them.
She's got a surprise awaiting her and this pink quilt is just in case.....

along with this blue....you must be prepared!
Ann got into the folded fabric and decided she'd best learn how to do it before her grand daughter ended up showing her how....
and this gorgeous top consists of the fat quarters she got to celebrate her 70th..
Renate got her reversible woven table runner all finished.

then sowed us her chemo quilt yet to be quilted.
Sandra Alston hit the big 70 this August and made this adorable table runner with some of them.

This is one of two place mats she got inspired to finish.....
along with this project from a visit to Newfoundland a few year's ago.
This top also includes some of the fat quarters...we told her she had to do something with them and she listened...good girl, Sandra.
Don't panic...poor Carolyn had to wear a mask....someone spilled gas and the fumes were too much for her sensitivity....this is one of the children's aprons she made..they are so very cute!

This granny gown is not for Carolyn...it is a Christmas present...bet it's really snuggly!
Jean made this table topper...she wanted winter but not Christmas...this works really well.
This beauty ...with well done points was made by Bea Elliot ...love the background and the backing on it as well.

Now this pattern I did see and put in my little box of things to do....Vera beat me to it ...hers is gorgeous!
Marilyn made another travel duffle bag  in black and white...I believe it is a christmas present for some lucky person....

This, too, is a Christmas present for a lucky little boy..made by Marilyn..  I think she has as much fun making these things as she does giving them away...to very lucky and happy recipients.
