We celebrated our Christmas meeting with a banquet at Smitty's Restaurant. A wonderful meal for sure be we really came for show and tell. Here are the participants in the Block of the Month and the winner with the most accurate points was none other than Judy Steeves...not a surprise , she does wonderful work.
Jackie made this beauty for her sister and quilted it entirely on her regular machine...beautifully done.
This glitzy Christmas bauble is for her deck. It was made using hoola hoops, styrofoam beads and Christmas motifs...excellent!!
Marlene is hiding there behind the Chemo quilt she made...she took it home to put a label on it...well done, lady!
Sheila showed us a sampler quilt she made a while ago and finally got bound...seems like we all have PHD's waiting to be finished.
Agathe got busy and did some scrappy quilts.....this one and the next go to our Chemo quilts project...gratefully recieved and awaiting use.
Muriel has more grand babies coming....lucky lady and this quilt was not one of the chosen ones for them so it is going to a friend's or perhaps a relative's baby...either way, they will be comfy, cozy...
