Jean started our show and tell with these toe Socks for leg casts..what a neat idea.
This sweet quilt goes into our comfort quilt program...made by Marilyn, quilted by our nimble fingered quilters, bound by Marilyn and now awaiting a lucky recipient.
Marilyn showed this Christmas decoration and told us it was easy to put together...isn't it great to have someone make a prototype and then share their findings. Thanks Marilyn!
Patty didn't want to show this first but I bugged her a little bit. This really neat wallet/purse attaches to her belt and holds essentials so that she is 'hands free'. We need to figure out how to make this....it would be wonderful to have when you are buying fabric so you wouldn't have to move your purse out of the way. so innovative.
Vera put this patriotic quilt together from the patterns that Muriel provided last year as President. She can't decide whether she is going to add more borders or not. She feels it isn't quite finished somehow. Whatever she decides, it will be amazing like the rest of her quilts.
Marlene made a couple of queen sized quilts this past summer and this is one of them. The colour actually turned out to be more true that what showed in the camera....good thing, because it is not blue it is a gorgeous purple and lilac. Lovely traditional and beautifully quilted quilt.
Ethel will have 16 tote bags finished by tomorrow...she is donating them to Portage house....what a caring and thoughtful person she is.
Cynthia got the jump on the President's Challenge and used her fabric to make this sweet winter pillow. So pretty!
Leigh went on a trip and bought an all inclusive kit that wasn't quite so inclusive...seem the batting fell short and the borders weren't included. Good thing she has a stash like the rest of us and was able to finish her "Ham and Eggs".
What a terrific neighbour, Marj is. This quilt....which could certainly be an Eye Spy quilt was made for a little three year old child that is one of her 5 children neighbours. The little one is going to love it.
A place for like minded quilters to gather and share ideas, techniques and projects.
