 First meeting of the 2024-2025 Quilt Guild Season held September 10, 2024

Cyntha V's work of art was chosen by the membership in the Name Tag Challenge.





Show and Tell

Photos from Monday night were submitted.

Gail F. showed a completed quilt.



Lauretta D. is presenting 2 projects.







Tuesday show and tell began with Vera T. showing her quilt.



Susan D. brought in 2 panel quilts she had completed.


This one has twister blocks on the side.



Patty E. completed a President's challenge project despite water disasters 





Muriel G. made a fun Flip Flop quilt.



Diane B. has a lovely tweed handbag.



Cathy K. has made a wintery small quilt



Bea O. showed the quilt she completed.




Ethel R. was moving fast while showing her quilt tops.
Two quilt tops to be backed with sheets to enclose old quilts and be donated to Outflow Men's Shelter. WI will be tying them.




Ethel also made a quilt for her grandson.


Beth A. made  drain bags for donation, shown by Judy H.

The pattern for Camp Camden, a design by Reed Johnson was published in Quiltmaker Magazine #200
The wallhanging was inspired by memories of summer camping at Lakeside Campground on Grand Lake NB


Susan's wall hanging/ table topper was suggested at Villa Retreat 2024 as a practice piece for back basting applique technique. She used a layer cake of batiks which were purchased at the Chinese Auction at Villa. Pattern original design Sindy Rodenmayer 2001
