Show and Tell followed the January 2025 business meeting.
Debbie F. has been making card holders from CD's or DVD's. They are padded, covered with fabric and held together with two buttons. This recycling idea was one she found on YouTube.
Joan S made her project from a kit purchased at Spruce It Up several years ago. She is looking for suggestions on backing her wall hanging since wool wasn't going to provide the stability she was lookin for.
Marlene O made a set of placemats. Many small squares were used in this project and the placemats are adorned with embroidery and buttons.
She has made them in a variety of colours and will be making seven more blocks.
Sharon R has been knitting soap sacks from cotton yarn. Accompanied by a bar of soap they are donation items for the designated area at the library.
Ethel R told us about a bag full of donation items that were dropped off by Agathe K
Jane K has kept busy sewing donation items. She showed a sampling of what she has completed..
4 anti-ouch pouches, 2 heart shaped mastectomy pillows, 1 chemo hat, 1 drain bag cover.
4 pillow cases were given to Ethel R. to be sent to Outflow, a shelter in Saint John
Susan S described finding 14 green fabrics, 8 beige fabrics and 2 red fabrics as a bit time consuming. Susan found this Christmas Wall Hanging project to be a lovely challenge. and told us about using the Little Twister ruler
Beth S has a very cute Bunny Panel quilt. Credit was given to Dawn P for the quilting.
Doreen D made a large quilt from a Fabric Cupboard 100 club pattern. Two sizes of 9 patch blocks were created. Doreen mentioned that Dawn P quilts all of her creations.

Jackie S. has a lovely completed Dragonfly from the workshop held by the Guild.
