Debbie F took part in the Charity/Donation sewing day. This is her completed Amish Bars Quilt being donated to the Cuddle Quilt Project. Debbie also brought in 2 Heart Shaped Mastectomy pillows that were sewn by volunteer and friend Jackie Turnbull
Ethel R's lovely Heart Quilt is from an Art to Heart pattern by Nancy Halvorsen. Credit was given to Agathe K for the quilting
Sharon R donated her project to be used as a document bag. She created a low cost bag with a wrist handle. Fabric and verigated thread are leftover from a quilt made in 2016, batting was pieced from scraps, both the zipper and plastic are reclaimed from packaging from a set of sheets. Dawn H had Easter in mind for her first 3 projects. She made refillable Easter Eggs, Carrot Bags and Easter Baskets.
Dawn is doing a Block of the Month that is offered online. Her completed blocks are Log Cabin and Churn Dash
Cathy K donated some drain bag covers and this pretty Cuddle Quilt
Cathy created her 9 Patch Quilt as a 100 Club Quilt, a project by The Fabric Cupboard.
Muriel G is displaying a Fabric Card Holder she has sewn.
Jane K has sewn her Trade Blocks together to form a quilt top. She is unsure what embellishments she will add to meet the challenge given. (Modern Puzzle Block)
Susan S has 2 completed Amish Bars quilts for the Cuddle Quilts Project. The sewing day was very successful.
Jackie J brought along numerous Knitted Preemie Hats for donation. She also created a pretty Cuddle Quilt embellished with ric rac.
Jackie S has made a wonderful Rose of Sharon Quilt. This is appliqued by hand as well as quilted by hand
We all took notice of Renate B's large red bag with dowel handles. It contained her Trade Block quilt (Modern Puzzle Block)
Judy H made a couple of small tote bags
Judy's Family Wall Hanging project is progressing nicely. Below are the 2 newest original designs.
