Program Day, January 28,2014

The guild quilt is in production...and here is Gilliane inspecting the progress made by the sewer and arrangers of the day.
Marilyn is busy making the last  five in a double nine patch to finish the last row.
Evelyn is finishing up the last  four in a double nine patch.
A new nine patch comfort quilt in the frame and ready for nimble fingers.
Arranging and arranging and driving themselves crazy to make sure there are no squares of the same fabric touching.  A hard job but then someone has to do it.
This quilt is ready for binding .
Show and tell started with a hexie snowflake...the start of a BOM in hexies.
Oh Canada, ready for batting and backing and some machine quilting.
Marilyn made this neat bag with measuring tape fabric. So cute!
Here's the latest trend in knitting....boot top cuffs.
Vera's quilted some hearts for Valentine's day...just around the corner.
Sherri brought her brown bag challenge, all finished and looking great!
She's done some knitting and here's a snowman had to prove it.
NOw this is a neat gadget, sits beside your sewing machine...has a bag for snippets and threads and the wired portion is to hold your coffee cup.  Creative people in this world.
A little slow with the camera but this is a shawl , knit by Jean Thompson for the prayer shawl group she knits with.  Gorgeous colour.
Susan is appliquing the seasons from the skinny quilts in Quiltmaker magazine.  This, of course, is for the winter.....
and here is the spring.  We'll no doubt, see, summer and fall before too long as well.
A sweet wall hanging...Small Comforts. ....s appropriate for this time of year.

Melda made the yo-yo wreath and it turned out so well.

Lilliane also did the yo-yo wreath. It turned out to be a great Christmas project. So well represented here.
Here's the Broken Star in gorgeous batik fabrics.
Renate sure can churn out the projects.  Here's a wonderful reversible pillow made to match a quilt she had made last fall.
and here's a bolter she added with it.  Such a talented lady.
Marge beat us all to the punch and got her BOM done ahead of the rest of us.
Judy brought a baby quilt she put together...all cuddly and warm with a flannel backing.
