A New Year begins.

What a great way to start the New Year...with a quilt. It looks like Ann is merely observing but truth is, she was just taking a break and had been quilting all morning...
Carol Brought in this gorgeous star quilt she just finished .It will be on display at the Kennebecasis Quilt show this upcoming September.
Gillian has been busy knitting leg warmers and yoga socks.   Good thing, too since she had three days without power this Christmas with all the power outages...this will be the year of the ice storms for sure.
Joan made this great table cover for her daughter who is unable to garden as much as she would like. Wonderful compensation there, Joan....
Vivian finished her star using Vera's instructions.
AND although she is hiding behind this comfort quilt  I want you to know she was basting it on Sunday in preparation for quilting and here it is Tuesday , quilted and ready for binding...just call her Speedy!!
Muriel made this blue Christmas wreath to match the beautiful table runner , all bound and ready for next year's decorations.
Jean made this really neat 'rag' tote  from a picture she saw...smart lady.
and along with the coaster sets she made she made some microwave bowls for gifts  or perhaps they are for sale at our quilt show...you'll just have to come and see.
Ann sure has lucky grandchildren.  Here is a gorgeous quilt she made for a granddaughter that is graduating this spring.
and not to be out done but she made a matching pillow case to go with it...
Susan stretched herself this time by doing a curved binding. It certainly turned out well.
Marg tried a different technique for this star. Done with half square triangles and looking just wonderful.
Ellen quilted this nine patch for the comfort quilts the guild pass along to victims of fire and lo and behold it went out to a family today. We have such caring and wonderful workers.
Judy challenged herself with this point matching table runner...
and made a table topper to go with it.
Evelyn did her block of the month challenge and is ready for the next one...
AND showed us her Broken Star that she started a few years ago.  It really doesn't matter when you finish a WIP as long as you finish , right Evelyn?
