Gettin" Busy!

We should have called the evening ladies the Wendy show...this girl just blew us away with how proficient and how prolific she has become.  Here is a Christmas table topper she appliqued and quilted.....
here's a second roll up she made for a gift...this one she adapted to fit the way she felt it should...

AND just look at this wonderful quilt....it is her own adaptation of the hexagon technique that Marilyn taught  last year...isn't it amazing.  You Go Girl!!!
This beauty was ....according to Marion....24 years in the making. Her sampler quilt that turned out great....joining the guild gave her that added little incentive to finish.
Madeline is hiding behind one set of pillowcases she made for her grandson who is into dinosaurs
......
and this set is all about machinery...another grandson will be delighted with these.
We told Martha that this sweater just wouldn't fit...and she didn't even wash it...lol!  it's for a little one...gorgeous design on the sides there.....
Here's Marilyn's quilt ...the fabric came from Connecting Threads and it is a terrific quality....plus the blues are gorgeous..there is a set of pillow cases to match...I understand the whole set is a gift...lucky recipient.
Placemats in the round and buttoned together...it's a Moda Bake Shop pattern made by Marilyn...one of those round-to-its that finally got done.
Daytime and the chattin' is easy...here's the five plus myself behind the camera that showed up to make anti-ouch pouches and drain bags.Surprising how many we got done...then when the ladies that prefer to do them at home turn theirs in we should have a great pile to pass along.
Hiding behind this neat table runner is Susan and it will be the first of three Blocks of the Month (2 part for each set) that she will be sharing with us.  Can't wait to try the easy flying geese pattern and, or course, the small checkerboard technique.  It's going to be in Christmas fabric for me.
The second set of techniques will be the back basting applique and set in seams...love the heart shaped chicks...this will be fun!
And the third technique will be making 8 at a time half square triangles.....now that I can't wait to see. If you're interested in doing these runners you better sign up quickly....
Susan made this lap size quilt...simple design and so very effective.
This beauty was done by Gail Rodgers...it is embroidered then pieced...gorgeous fabrics, exquisite stitching in the embroider and the quilting sets it off with blue variegated thread on black...a real show stopper that will be on show next fall in our show..
