After a few false starts and some irritating snafus, I finally got these pictures uploaded. I decided to have the evening show and tell join with the daytime show and tell and keep it all together....To start, Marilyn showed the  Ladies of the Evening the bag they were going to be making....it is a great bag for storing those things you need for classes OR a cosmetic bag with see through pockets of vinyl or mesh.
Then she showed us the reversible aprons she is making for the craft show being held soon.
along with some hickory nuts put together for a table topper

AND
 a candle mat ...
Here is a mile a minute quilt that Wendy made for her son who chose the fabrics...no flowers among them....and the accent colour...he has good colour sense and Mom did a great job.
This is a ducky quilt , I believe for a niece of Wendy's

Below, Judy Hughes shows her gorgeous table topper that may be on the agenda for the ladies of the evening in the future.

This is Marion's beautiful chevron scrappy quilt...just love it!

Linda does not like hand work but decided to put her own spin on the reversible quilt as you go and made this "Sew Linda"  table topper and found a place for it in her home....wonderful !
This is Linda, hiding behind her pillow shams that match the beautiful quilt in the next picture.
 See!!  isn't it stunning!
This is Ruth's version of the striped
table topper that we may be doing in the evening
program.

This is the afternoon session of the program day for the month of October.
The tables set up with flannelette sheets were used to make a reversible woven table runner....intricate but well explained by Judy Hughes.
As I mentioned the pictur es created a little  problem as I tried to up load them so they are out of order...here's Muriel with a really sweet bug quilt ...she's getting two more grand babies....I am soo jealous!
Gillian made some anti-pouch bags and got some stuffing to finish them off..
plus she made this adorable baby blanket with ice cream cones on it.
Vera's a keener and got the first challenge of the block of the month done. She did it her way instead of the long runner she made her's into a square...think I might do the same...
And look at this sweetheart, Vivian....she made this Noel wall hanging........AND
is another keener and got her challenge Block of the Month done....gee whiz , these ladies are so motivating.
See....pictures  out of sequence...here's Susan with her reversible woven runner taking shape....I told her I am going to snitch on her and tell her sister that she said it did not matter if it actually was reversible...ha ha! we all know it will be extremely well done .....as usual with Susan.
Lilliane is hiding behind this wonderful 50 by 70....cancer quilt she made in anticipation of the project on the go the guild is taking on...well done there!

Renate is now , officially, a bag lady...she made five more.....boy, she really likes making them and from what she tells us the recipients enjoy getting them....
Susan collected scraps at the Villa Madonna...signatures on a scrap of fabric for the label and made this wonderful keepsake of her first time at the Villa...wish I had gotten mine done by now....I will add it to my TO DO list.
Here is her Who Knows quilt...just love those owls...they all have such personality.

And last but not least, Jean Thompson is hiding behind this wonderful little girl's quilt.
