We braved the chilly winter night and had some amazing show and tell. Here is a block of the day by Chris Finnis....It was supposed to be for the whole year but she decided enough was enough. Isn't it fabulous!
Here's another project she's finishing up a gorgeous miniature....sure hope she gets it quilted for the quilt show in September.
And just look at the backing she is putting on that miniature...sure do love to see interesting things on the back as well as the front.
Our resident bag lady...Wendy has made a cozy for her scissors...hers turned out to be bigger than mine and I think I prefer hers...maybe it is time for me to make another.
When I say "Bag Lady" I really mean it. Look at this adorable purse Wendy made...with ruffles...so ultra feminine but that's not the neatest thing about it...she put an inset zipper pocket in it and is hooked ...we will be seeing more of her bags with inset zippered pockets...so smart , that girl!
REnate wowed us with her village...since she was unable to get started on her BOM for the day guild she made this sweet wall hanging...no flies on REnate...she's too busy.
Wendy had more to show...these are baby blankets she made...I believe for a niece...make some for one ya gotta make some for the other...right , Wendy!
Wendy got her "Decade the Halls" all finished and quilted...sure turned out well. The ladies rose to the challenge this mystery quilt made for them...they are all beautiful.
Beth got a few projects finished....including this wonderful snowman table topper...done in homespun and so neat looking.
This is a table runner that she made a while ago and finally got it all done. bravo, Beth.
Plus, Beth got her "Smitten with Mittens" table topper all sandwiched and ready for quilting...sure feels good to get some UFO's up and running along with a few PHD"s...right , Beth?
Linda robbed Peter to pay Paul...made this wonderful purse and stole the handles from another to finish it off... Necessity is the Mother of Invention and we all know that Linda is extremely practical and inventive...figures things out real quick. Great bunch of worker those ladies of the evening...and fun to work with.....
