Monthly Meeting March 12, 2024

Show and Tell March 12, 2024

Susan S. was on hand to assist members with Show and Tell.

Jean T. has a finished baby quilt. It will soon be on it's way to Trail, BC

Helen S. made a runner in a 3D quilt workshop that she attended.

Debbie F. has enjoyed experimenting with different colour combinations for her trade blocks.

Cynthia V. told us about families from South Africa and from Brazil that are new to the area. She and her friend Davine took on the challenge of projects for them.

We all got a close up of the lovely label she made, a project from a book Gail F. destashed.

Renate B. used pink in her trade blocks.

Vera T.'s quilt was made from a kit she received for Christmas 2022. There is even quite a bit of leftover fabric.

Agathe K. Showed us a large quilt that has bottom corners cut on an angle.

This smaller project was made from the scraps.

And she got the most out of her fabric by using the crumb pieces for her next project.

Cathy K. has completed her President's Challenge project. Aspen Forest

Diane B. has made a personalized throw pillow and a bench pillow for her sun porch.

Her panel quilt will be a lovely gift for a grandson.

And tickets will be sold in the fall to support SPOT Food Bank. The fall themed quilt was a Fabric Cupboard,100 Club project.

Judy S. brought in a workshop project from 1997. Her lady is actually a tea cozy.

Gail R. is enjoying knitting socks

Sharon R. made an apron from the 20 Minute Adjustable Apron pattern. She modified it for size since it is a birthday gift for her son-in-law.

Judy H. crocheted a basket but found that she used a yarn that was too soft. Helen S. had a little fun and tried it on for size. LOL

Jane K. showed her finished project from the interrupted/ fractured panel workshop.

Susan S. featured both snowmen and Easter themed projects.

Show and Tell was followed by a DEMO by Jane K.'s featuring her favourite sewing/quilting tools and ordinary household items that are helpful in crafting projects
