March 26, 2024 Program Day

 Program/Workshop Day

Ethel R. and Jane K. prepared and shared some kits for Charity/Donation Sewing Day. Numerous members arrived to participate, some bringing along fabric and projects and I think everyone would agree it was a productive day.

Several heart shaped Mastectomy Pillows were sewn, stuffed and finished. Here is a link to a tutorial.

A popular small project was Drain Bag covers.

The members sewing the larger Anti-Ouch Pouch project seemed to be pretty fast too.

Five members worked on baby quilts. Ethel R. presented a QAYG method of sewing an Amish Bar quilt. They were at various stages by end of day and each will be finished at home.

Vera T. donated this lovely quilt made from a panel.

Susan S. brought in two quilts for donation!

Joyce B, head of the Cuddle Quilt Committee was on hand to accept all completed items.

The hand quilting on the Guild Quilt was completed today and it was removed from the frames.
