November meeting

Here they are , all ready to conduct the meeting like the good executive  they are. Cheryl, our secretary , Marj , our treasurer and Muriel, the President extraordinaire....
Ethel showed us our next project...the guild quilt...a double nine patch in muted colours.  Each of the members have the opportunity to participate , remember to NOT use jewel tones or 'brights'.
Ce made this wonderful blanket for her grandchild.
Muriel did her homework for the Block of the Month.
AND her Hexie table topper got finished.
A sweet wallhanging.....two penquins...not quite kissin'.
Ann  has been busy knitting up a storm. This beautiful sweater is just one of the projects she had to show us.
Two Vivians....showing Vivian Patriquin's homework....she got her's done as well.
Leigh and Evelyn....twin quilts...one quilted and one waiting to be quilted..both gorgeous and wonderful examples of black and white quilts.
A table topper or table cloth by Leigh Smith...
Susan Snyder got her hexie table topper done as  well..
I kept this picture, despite its blurriness just to show you the sweet lunch bag Susan made....the sunflower in the front and the dimensional leaves in the back. What a neat ...as she put it "useless quilted thing"...
A baby quilt she appliqued this summer and used a warm , snuggly fleece for the backing.
Another finished program project.
Table toppers with hexies...AND a sweet sixteen bag ...good job...
As usual, Judy finds unique and interesting techniques...this one is a disappearing four patch pinwheel....looks complicated.
Joan brought in her wonderful lap quilt or perhaps a wall hanging for Christmas...would look good on my wall for sure.
and there's Sandra with her snowmen...considered primitive but I think they are more homey...with snaps for coal button smiles...smart cookie.
Carolyn drops into the Evening ladies to hone her quilting techniques and here is her table topper with half square triangles...looking great, girl.  (on a side note, look at how great Martha looks., slim and trim....and...that's my sister-in-law forever in blue jeans).
