January 23, 2024, Program Day

 Program Day was a workshop on Interrupted panels led by Jackie J.

The members who attended were shown several examples of Jackie's work and got numerous tips, tricks and hints on how to square up their panel cuts. Lots of ideas were given on how to reconstruct the pieces into a project.

Workshop attendees were Jane K., Gail R., Judy H., Susan S., Ethel R., Sharon G.,and Sharon R. (behind the camera)

Susan S. and Ethel R. proceeded with their panels to the point of doing some sewing.

Show and Tell

Vera T. presented a sampler quilt which was last years Block of the Month

Renate B. made a baby quilt with flannel backing

Jean T. had the chance to model her creation, a full size (Bib) apron

Judy H. brought in her New York Beauty project, paper pieced parcel with a bow and a folded star ornament.

Susan S. and Sharon R. helped members make folded star ornaments. Sharon R., Judy H., Ethel R., Vera T., Renate B, and Marilyn T., showed off their stars. A few didn't stay for a photo op
